Hi again, two posts in one day i know but this week i've also received this Fur bobble hat from BKLYN. They specialize in fur bobble hats for women, men and children.

I was sent this super cute hat in light grey with a grey fur bobble. It arrived next day delivery and the staff were lovely who i spoke to. The hat is also made from the finest italian wool, here's the description from their website.

"Our luxurious Fur Bobble Hats are made using the finest Italian merino wool, this ensures that not only are they super soft to touch, the natural fibres are also gentle on your hair. Our Pom Pom's come in a wide range of colours ensuring that there will be a combination to suit all tastes and with our mix and match option you can choose your very own. Each hat purchased comes in its very own gift box ensuring that it will arrive with you in perfect condition. The 2016/17 collection features many new styles including striped hats and our new iconic metal stud branding. Whether you are after a classic wardrobe staple such as Black, Grey or Navy or looking to turn heads with one of our brighter knits we have the colour for you. This season also sees the launch of our exclusive two tone fur collection, with the tips of the pom pom beautifully accented with a contrast colour including grey with Tiffany Blue."

All the hats are £55 each but for the quality you are receiving it's worth paying that price. The hat came in a gorgeous black packaging which looks elegant and sophisticated which I featured it on my instagram

If you know anything about me you'll know grey is one of my favourite colours. clothing, homewear you name it i'll probably think it looks cooler in grey. My flat heavily features grey with my curtains, carpet, bedding and sofa all being grey. So to be sent a grey hat you can see why i was so happy with it.

Below are some more photo's of the hat

Are reviews something you want to see more of?

A big thankyou to Bklyn.co.uk for sending me the hat. I hope you enjoyed my reviews i've done. i might do more of them in the future. I also want to thank everyone for following me, commenting and basically reading this blog. Never in a million years would i have thought i'd be brave enough to create my own blog. Let alone be on almost 500 followers in just 5 weeks. I havent really got an upload pattern at the moment they seem to be Friday and/ or Saturday's when i have the inspiration and time to upload. So expect my posts to be then.

Shein Jeans*

*This post is sponsored by Shein and all opinions are my own true thoughts

Hi guys! So this week i'm doing something a bit different. As some of you may know from my introductory post i made, that i'm sponsored by a few companies from my Tumblr blog. One of them companies being Shein.

This week i was lucky enough to be sent some blue bleached ripped jeans that i'm wearing in the photo above. I got them in a size M using the size guide provided on their website.

I'm having a lot of fun styling these jeans so far, they seem to go with everything be it shirts, vest tops, t-shirts, cropped tops etc. They're super flattering however i would size up as i'm usually a UK 6 in jeans for most stores which would be the equivalent to a S. Looking at the size guide it said a M would fit me - which it did. The jeans are basically mom jean style with rips on them. The back has a patch similar to the levi jean's patch which is a super cute feature. Basically these jeans are my new staple item in my wardrobe and i will wear them to death.

If you're wanting some cheap but good quality mom jeans i'd definitely recommend these ones, they're on sale from £25 to £15.27 which is a bargin.

Below are some more images of these jeans.

Which online stores are you loving at the moment?

Till next time,
Stevie x

An album i'm loving

This week i thought i'd do something different, today's topic is music. In particular an album by Catfish and the bottlemen.

I've been a fan of Catfish and the bottlemen for a while now but i hadn't had chance to listen to their new album 'The Ride' as i was a bit skeptical it wouldn't be as good as their first. oh how i was wrong! Their second album 'The Ride' has been on repeat since Wednesday night so you can see just how much i like it.

Recently one of my friends came up to see me from Doncaster which was nice because we haven't seen him in a while. The five of us had a sleepover at mine and everyone gave a listen to 'The Ride' whilst having a good old catch up.

'The Ride' is very different to their first album 'The Balcony' which was much more main stream. This one is a lot darker with lyrics and has more meaning to the songs. It's the kind of album you can put on if you've had a bad day and need to relax in the bath. The album flow's really well, the songs are still catchy but at the same time give you the feeling you know the members of catfish really well. Almost like you've known them for years. I don't know how they do it but you really feel for the singer and what kind of experience he's singing about.

I've never really felt inspired by an album before but 'The Ride' gives you confidence that everything is going to be okay eventually. You just have to wait for the storm to pass.

If you wasn't a fan of Catfish and the bottlemen already at least give their second album a listen, it might change your mind about them.

This album was not what i was expecting at all but i'm so pleased that i loved it. Having said that i'm always a bit skeptical with bands/artist's second albums as they usually flop and i'm always left a bit disappointed. For example The 1975's "I like it when you sleep, for you are so beautiful yet so unaware of it" - i was highly disappointed with their new direction they went for. Don't get me wrong i love The 1975, Matt Healy is practically a god in my eyes. But their second album just didn't live up to my expectations. At least i still have the first album to keep my love burning for The 1975 right? let's hope their third album is better.

You can listen to 'The Ride' here on a public playlist of the album I've made or buy is here from itunes.

In just over a week we've managed to double the follower count, i'm now on 360 followers! That's so crazy but i'm so thankful for everyone who's been supporting this blog so far.

Till next time have a wonderful day,

Stevie x

I became a mermaid!

Follow my blog with Bloglovin

For a while now I've wanted to be outrageous with makeup. I wanted to go outside the 'norm' of contouring, winged eyeliner and bold red lips.

After being inspired by one of my favourite bloggers ( Sophie Hannah Richardson ) i decided it was time for me to become a mermaid. In the spirit of missing my blue locks i decided to go for an all (well mostly) Blue look.

Transforming myself into a mermaid didn't cost me anything, i used cheap eye shadow's and eye liner pencils that i already had. The aim of this look was to experiment and as you can see it's not perfect but i'm really pleased with the outcome.

To achieve this look I used a bright blue eye shadow where you would normally contour and a paler blue eye shadow where you would usually highlight the face. After that i played around with deep purple eye shadow's and other shades of blue i had in my collection. varying my technique of dotting and blending to get the desired look on my temples. As for the lips i used a green metallic toned eye liner pencil (which again was only cheap and I've had it a while). Once i'd filled my lips in with that i then put a khaki green eye shadow on my lips which gave it a really nice look.

The reason i made this post was to say use what you already have! getting into the festival or mermaid makeup spirit doesn't have to cost you anything but your creativity, time and patience. It's all about experimenting and it might not go the way you hope the first time. But the more you experiment the better at it you will get and the happier you will be with the outcome.

I'd like to say a big thankyou to everyone who follow's me, this blog has been up two weeks today and has just hit 150 followers! The response to my posts so far have been amazing and it seems strange that so many people have already discovered my little blog.

Till next time have a lovely week,

Stevie x

Yorkshire Sculpture Park

Today i went to the 'Yorkshire Sculpture Park' with my boyfriend and his family where we enjoyed art work, a picnic and the amazing views of the Yorkshire countryside.

If you've never heard of the 'Yorkshire Sculpture Park', it's a free entry indoor and outdoor exhibit of sculptures and artwork situated in Wakefield, UK. So it's perfect for those who live in the Yorkshire area like myself. It took us about an hours drive to get there which wasn't too bad.

When we got there we were given a map of the park so we didn't get lost (it's spread out over 500 acres so pretty easy to get lost in). After we were given the map it was time to start looking at everything they had to offer, from amazing sights, to creatively different sculptures and beautifully laid out artwork exhibits. Of course, this meant i had the opportunity to take some really good photo's - especially paired with the nice weather we had today.

It's a lot of walking but you can take it at your own pace and see all or just a small part of what they have to show. It's all down to you! we looked at pretty much everything they had to offer which took us 4 hours to do.

Below are some more images i took today.

All in all i'm very tired from the walking but i had an awesome day. Also i just wanted to say a massive thank you for the support and followers I've gotten so far. It's crazy to think it's only been up a week.

hope you have an amazing weekend,

Stevie
