Fly Free Apparel X Review

I seem to have a love hate relationship with t-shirts at the moment, for whatever reason I just don't feel inspired to wear the ones I own. Which is a shame but they all feel a little boring, as though they are missing something. I began searching online and discovered a style of t-shirt that I just had to have in my collection.

I don't know about you but I am OBSESSED with over sized t-shirts that have back prints, just like this 'Demon Wolf' one from Fly Free Apparel

My inner witchy vibes were instantly drawn to this vibrant, unique design of a demon wolf that has a snake for a tongue, arrows and skulls. I am in love with the back print, this is by far the coolest top I own - need I say anymore?

In the past I've had SO many white t-shirts that have left me disappointed showing the dreaded bra underneath which can lead to some awkward situations, especially if you weren't aware before you went out. I'm happy to confirm this issue is not one I have experienced with the demon wolf t-shirt, yay for great quality clothes at reasonable prices!

At just £15 this t-shirt is a bargain not to be missed and I recommend checking out some other stuff Fly Free Apparel sell. I believe this store has great potential in 2018 and I for one am a supporter!

Fly Free Apparel came about from a YouTuber who always dreamed of having a line of his own; the name "Fly Free" has been a close meaning due to people who can't feel "Free" or are unable to do what they want to do. The owner has suffered with feeling "Controlled and Slayed" and has met so many people who also suffer from being judged and can't live a life they dream. He started a YouTube Channel under the name of "AzzaCurrey" to remind people that you can be free and enjoy a life without doubts and fights.

The clothing line started on 30th of December of 2014 and was always in the back of his mind after a failed attempted of the first line he started called 'Metfiner' which nothing was complete or felt right about it, so after a year, he saw a couple of YouTube videos of bald eagles flying and it come to mind of an eagle influence name "Fly Free", the clothing industry for the independent brand has mostly been alternative/metal theme, he wants to step away from joining the crowd. The style that fly free has is similar to Drop Dead (back in the 2009) and Thunder Apparel. But in 2016, fly free has stopped from making new products as they are changing the style to more "original" then cheap Gildian with one colour print. The new ultimate Eagle Set will come out in 2019 after almost 5 years of finding the "niche" which he is looking forward to release it soon.

The 'Demon wolf' Tee was kindly gifted to me by Fly Free apparel for review and i am very glad I discovered the brand.

Jeans X Shein

FINALLY a pair of jeans * that fit me correctly, Thankyou Shein!

Anyone else seem to have never ending issues with jeans or is that just me?

From baggy knees, to uncomfortable questionable fits and awkward ~~*camel toe*~~ wardrobe malfunctions, it's clear to say me and jeans don't really get along - Until now

Shein continues to impress me with each item i'm lucky enough to review and these distressed skinny jeans are no exception.

If you're on the hunt for affordable, good quality jeans i'd definately reccommend these. They're soft, stretchy AND comfortable!

I just love how easy it is to style these jeans, they instantly add that bit of 'Glam' to even the plainest of tops.

Solid X Pattern

Branching out into patterned clothing is still something I'm yet to get the hang of, and for now experimenting with how I pair patterned pants is something I'm really enjoying.

One of my favourite way's I've paired these pants so far is with my body suit* from Shein. Ahh finally, a body suit that perfectly fits petite girls - Where have you been all my life?!?

Lace up fronts are something you either love or you hate and (un)fortunately depending on your view they seem to be on practically every vest top, jumper and body suit going. Admittedly it took a while for me to make a decision if it was my kind of thing or not, hence why i'm so late to this trend.

Baby pink, not a colour that i wear often but there was something about it that made the lace up front seem less frightning and wearable not just on special occasions. From here the Solid X Pattern combo was born aka the perfect glam but chill outfit.

Spring/Summer Outfit

Spring is quickly approaching and if i'm honest i want winter to be over so i can wear some of my other clothes again. Having said that Shein.com kindly sent me a pink chocker top in size XS and a split ripped pencil skirt in size M. For size reference i'm a UK 6 for both upper and lower half.

If you are new to my blog you may not know i'm a huge fan of Shein.com and the cheap but good quality clothes they have available. I've worked with them for more than four years now and they've come along way in that time. The staff are lovely and helpful so if you have any questions be sure to give them an email or check their FAQ section.

pink chocker top review:

I have mixed thoughts on this top because it didn't fit me despite getting the smallest size. If you look on the website the top has flaied arms and cut out shoulders which in my photo it doesn't. This is because the arms were too big and the cut out was almost at my belly. For the purpose of the photo i tyed the arms behind me in a bow which gave me this super cute chocker top. I think i'd wear the top out like that if i found a jacket that would go with it!

The material is good quality and the colour compliments your skin tone. I think it's a really pretty top and it's a shame it didn't fit right. I do still really like it though.

split ripped pencil skirt review:

I love this skirt! It's exactly what i was looking for and will be a staple item for my summer outfits, i can't wait. The skirt fits me really well and it's super comfy.

The skirt has a zip and button fastening which i like as not many pencil skirts have that. On the website it said the skirt was made of denim and was stretchy which is true, but it's a very thin type of denim. I love the sahde this skirt is in and gets me excited for summer. Overall i really like this item.

Valentine's day outfit ideas*

It's officially February, so that means Valentine's day is quickly approaching and for some of you, that might mean rushing around and panicking about what to wear. Whether you have a date or not valentines day is a great excuse to make yourself look cute! So why not treat yourself to a the black pinafore dress from Shein.com , at only £8.26 it's an absolute bargain and a wardrobe must have!

The black pinafore dress comes in 'one-size' but the straps can be adjusted to shorten or be made longer, this does affect the length and fit of the item as a whole but it's a feature i really like. Being small has it's pro's and con's and i was a bit skeptical of what the fit of this item would be like since it's a one-size fits all. Without adjusting the straps it was very baggy and the material just hung on me rather than complimenting my body. However when i did shorten the straps i absolutly loved the fit.

The fabric on this dress is similar cord and has the same virtcal pattern detail you'd expect from a cord pinafore dress. This dress also has a large pocket on the front and two smaller ones on the bum sort of area; I get a lot of use out of the front pocket because it's the right size to store my phone in or other little bits and bobs that i might need. I don't use either of the two back pockets but i do think it's a nice feature and changes the look of the dress.

I've had a lot of fun playing around with how i pair this dress and if you're following me on instagram (@simplystevie9) i've posted a few photo's of how i've been wearing it. Because this dress is so versitile it's really easy to wear. For more indie type outfits pair it up with a striped top like i have in the photo's above, wear with tights and chelsea boots or a flat shoe, however i chose to wear some chunky soled heel brogues. For a girly type of outfit pair it up with a grey long sleeve top, tights and some boots. Or for more of a skater vibe pair up with a black long sleeve top, fishnets and vans. I also liked wearing differnt types of jumpers underneath to give the dress a completely different look.

If you don't want the dress in black they also do it in a baby pink colour or for other colours in a similar pinafore dress to this one you can look here , prices do vary depending which pinafore dress style you get but are around the same sort of price.
